Kat is a photographer, writer, and educator based out of Cambria, CA. She loves really bad sci-fi movies, coffee, thunderstorms, tie-dye, breakfast burritos, craft beer, and the ocean, among other things. She is an avid scuba diver and earned her PADI Divemaster certification in Australia in 2014.
Kat earned a B.S. in environmental science and a specialization in conservation from the University of Virginia. She is currently running the outdoor science school and summer camp programs at a small non-profit camp in a truly beautiful part of California, a job that has allowed her to teach kids about nature, become an expert tie-dyer, and take a group of awesome teens to Hawaii for a week.
